Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) in TECLA

We are a statewide Multiple Listing Service that serves all 62 counties, including all five boroughs. Our platform enables member brokers and agents to list properties across the entire state. Launched in 2009, our proprietary, custom-built software is designed to adapt to the evolving needs of both our members and the real estate industry.

We’re looking for an experienced AWS Engineer to join our team and help design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. This person will play a critical role in building scalable and secure AWS environments while automating processes that support our data ingestion pipelines. • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, and more.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts for data ingestion and cloud infrastructure management.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
• Collaborate with the development and data teams to optimize processes and workflows.
• Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with PHP.
• Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have (But Not Required):

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React/Svelte.
