Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone and email.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Install and maintain software applications.
  • Provision new users in our various software applications.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Document support requests and their resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for common IT issues and solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on IT best practices and new systems.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics:

Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with common desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with Google Workspace Administration.
  • Experience with Atlassian Administration (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Patience and a willingness to help others.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice to haves:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
  • A+ Certification or other relevant IT certifications.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Projects.
  • Salesforce Administration.
