What you will do

Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and data pipelines.
Develop and optimize ETL processes to enhance data ingestion and processing.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to outline their data requirements.
Ensure the architecture can support data processing needs within the organization.
Implement data quality checks and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot data processing systems to ensure optimal efficiency.
Work with various stakeholders to determine data storage and analytics needs, establishing best practices.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering technologies.

Requirements

At least 3-5 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
Proven experience in implementing ETL processes and working with data integration tools.
Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is preferred.
Familiarity with data modeling, data architecture, and various database technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong foundation in database management and data warehousing concepts.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.).
