Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain a scalable data pipeline to ingest and store cyberthreat metadata in MongoDB.
Implement data transformation processes to ensure data quality and integrity within the MongoDB database.
Develop and optimize queries and indexes to support efficient data retrieval and analysis.
Create and maintain an authenticated internal API to expose versioned data stored in MongoDB.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity analysts, software engineers, and product managers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement best practices for data security, including encryption and access control mechanisms, within MongoDB.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of data services.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering and MongoDB technology, proposing and implementing improvements to existing data infrastructure.

Requirements

3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on MongoDB.
Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Strong expertise in MongoDB, including data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience in developing RESTful APIs and authentication mechanisms for data access.
Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and familiarity with handling cyberthreat metadata is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting data-related issues.
Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
