Currently, we are looking to further enhance our capabilities by enriching our data acquisition processes, and our new Data Scraper Engineer will be crucial in achieving this. This role is centered around building high-quality data pipelines and deploying them seamlessly into production, with a focus on innovative and efficient practices.

Responsibilities

✅ Scraper Development: Build robust web scrapers using TypeScript for a variety of data sources.
✅ Deployment & Cloud Operations: Deploy, monitor, and maintain scrapers on GCP Cloud Run.
✅ Scalability & Maintenance: Ensure scrapers are scalable, maintainable, and easy to debug.
✅ Collaboration & Speed: Work closely with the team to deliver scrapers fast and iteratively, employing clean Git practices.

Requirements

🔹 Scraping Experience: Proven experience building scrapers – this is key for the role.
🔹 Tech Stack: Proficiency in TypeScript, Git, and Google Cloud Platform (especially Cloud Run).
🔹 Mindset: Resourceful, independent, and able to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
🔹 English: Intermediate-Advanced level (required) to collaborate with international teams.

Nice to Have

🔸 Experience working in remote teams.
🔸 Familiarity with anti-bot techniques and captcha-solving strategies.
🔸 Experience with headless browsers like Puppeteer or Playwright.
