EVEN enables musical artists to sell their music first and stream it later. At EVEN, artists set the price and quantity, and receive immediate payment after each sale. EVEN releases provide fans with early access to music, content, tour tickets, merchandise, and more from their favorite artists.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Reporting and Payouts Manager to lead the development and execution of reporting structures and financial operations across all releases on EVEN, including music, content, and other creative projects. This is a critical role that bridges data analytics, financial distributions, and creator support, ensuring EVEN’s global network of artists and creators receive accurate insights and timely payouts. You will collaborate closely with business development, backend developers, and artist/creator relations to optimize processes, drive transparency, and empower creators worldwide.

Responsabilities

Comprehensive Release Reporting:

  • Develop and manage reporting structures for all releases on EVEN, spanning music, video, content, and other creative projects.
  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics, including, gross and net revenue, conversion rates, etc.
  • Prepare and submit sales and performance data to key external partners across all release types as needed.
  • Ensure all reports meet industry and organizational standards and deadlines.

SQL-Driven Data Analysis:

  • Use SQL to query, extract, and manipulate large datasets for reporting and payout calculations.
  • Design and optimize scalable SQL queries and data models for efficient reporting workflows.
  • Leverage data insights to identify trends and opportunities for creators to improve their monetization strategies.

Global Payouts Management:

  • Calculate and process payouts to artists, creators, and record labels, ensuring timely and accurate financial distributions.
  • Collaborate with finance and backend development teams to automate and scale payout processes.
  • Maintain transparency with creators by providing regular updates and insights into their earnings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Business Development team to align reporting and payouts with partner agreements and platform goals.
  • Collaborate with Backend Developers to implement robust systems for reporting and financial operations.

Process Optimization and Scalability:

  • Identify opportunities for automation to streamline reporting and payouts across all release categories.
  • Continuously improve systems to support the platform’s global scale and growing creator base.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL with experience in writing and optimizing queries for large datasets.
  • Proven experience in sales reporting, data analytics, and financial operations across creative or technology industries.
  • Experience with financial tools and payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, ACH, wire transfers).
  • Proficiency in data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create actionable dashboards.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English.

Desirable skills

  • Familiarity with reporting requirements for music (e.g., Luminate, MLC, PROs) and adaptability for other content types.
  • Strong understanding of global financial systems, royalty calculations, and partner agreements.
