What you will do

As an Android Developer at Ensitech, you will:

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and well-tested Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
Contribute to the design and implementation of new features.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver outstanding solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Troubleshoot and debug issues effectively, driving resolutions in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

2+ years of experience in Android development, showcasing your capabilities in delivering high-quality applications.
A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles that foster clean and scalable code.
Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, with a strong grasp of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
Experience with common Android architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVP.
A background in working with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services, ensuring seamless communication between applications.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git for effective collaboration and code management.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and drive projects forward.
A passion for sustainable agriculture and technology would be a plus.

Desirable Skills

Cloud technologies.

Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
