Responsibilities

Define and maintain the architectural vision and roadmap for the platform.
Lead the design and development of complex systems using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Graph Database, jsonapi.org, Kotlin, React JS, and Redux.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and tools for potential integration into our systems.
Mentor and guide engineers across the organization in best practices and design patterns.
Ensure high-quality technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing throughout the team.

Job Summary

As the Lead Architect at IQ Lab LLC, you will have a pivotal role in designing, developing, and overseeing the architecture of our scalable and reliable systems. Your responsibilities will include leading the technical direction of our platform, ensuring all architectural decisions align with business goals, and leveraging our technology stack to create cutting-edge solutions. You will work closely with our highly skilled team, participating in a flexible and fully remote work environment, enhancing collaboration and innovation.

We are looking for a candidate who holds a degree in Computer Science and has over 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a lead architect capacity. Strong communication, leadership skills, and the ability to solve problems under tight deadlines are essential for this role.

While the essential experience includes deep knowledge of

Ruby on Rails,

familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress would be advantageous.

Additionally, a strong understanding of React JS, Redux, and TypeScript is beneficial.
