Application Developer in TECLA

We are looking for an Application Developer to join our team! In this role, you will program and implement cloud or local software applications in support of business objectives. You will be responsible for many aspects of the software application life cycle, including collaboration with the development team working on the same project, implementing process changes, system training, and other user-focused activities. Additionally, you will plan the process of application upgrades, integration updates, and other system changes.

You will research and recommend changes in application environments through internal customization, third-party products, and other tools to identify opportunities for increased productivity and cost reduction. You will also conduct user training on the applications as necessary.

• 3-5 years of experience building, modifying, and maintaining web applications with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and current web standards
• 3-5 years of experience maintaining source code repositories
• Proficiency in crafting dynamic, responsive Frontend architectures and delivering high-performance web applications
• Familiarity with working with third-party JS packages and component libraries
• Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL
• Familiarity with Python
• Familiarity with reading Java code
• Ability to develop and unit test extension solutions in Oracle VBS, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), SQL/PSQL, and OIC

• Understanding of software design patterns and agile product development
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, business users, and technical staff
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into code
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas across business layers
• Familiarity with online IDE Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Motivated, outgoing, positive, and able to multi-task
• Bilingual in English / Spanish
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, or a balanced mix of education, certifications, and experience

Work Schedule: US Eastern Standard Time
