Quilt is creating a platform that does end-to-end data extraction for companies. We pull the data they need from the web and integrate it into their business workflows. Our team members all work on flexible schedules and are located around the world. We only have meetings when necessary - most of our communication is done asynchronously.

Quilt is in Start-Up Chile's Ignite 2 program.

Job functions

Write high performing code and work on various projects related to APIs, business logic, and server scripts
Provide input on the future of the product
Work closely with the CEO to develop new features
20+ hours of availability per week, remote work

Qualifications and requirements

Requirements:

Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Passionate about our mission and willing to give input on an early-stage product
Self-driven and entrepreneurial
Able to communicate and work well with the team

Familiarity with the following concepts and technologies:

Python
Web scraping (Scrapy)
API architecture
Node.js
MySQL
Linux

Desirable skills

Understanding of machine learning concepts
