The startup simplifies the auto recycling process by providing software that helps dismantlers efficiently identify, digitize, and sell valuable parts from end-of-life vehicles. Our platform matches used parts with OEM data, offers precise recommendations on which parts to dismantle, and automates listings across multiple marketplaces. By improving efficiency and reducing manual work, the company helps salvage yards maximize profits while contributing to a more sustainable automotive industry.

We are tackling several key challenges in the industry:

Inefficient salvage decisions
Manual data processing
Disjointed sales channels

We are targeting a huge and rapidly growing market. The automotive industry is facing stricter recycling regulations, and the demand for used car parts is growing as vehicle fleets age.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the development of the core product, including: Data integrations, AI-based image recognition models, and automated marketplaces integration.
Build and manage a high-performing engineering team.
Define and implement the technical strategy and architecture to support the startup’s growth and scalability.
Collaborate closely with the rest of the founding team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead innovation in AI, machine learning, and automotive technology.
Manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors.
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of systems.
Contribute to the company's overall strategy and participate in fundraising activities.

Requirements

Vast experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated track record of building products from scratch (preferably B2B).
Proficiency in modern web technologies and cloud platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Strong communication skills in German and English and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong background in AI and machine learning, particularly in computer vision and natural language processing.
Passion for sustainability and the automotive industry is a plus.
