The Opportunity

As an Implementation Engineer at Pet’s Table, you will lead the integration of our customer experience platform, Kustomer, with essential communication and e-commerce tools, including the WhatsApp Cloud API, Shopify, and Recharge. Your expertise will ensure seamless data flow and enhanced customer interactions, driving operational efficiency and exceptional customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will develop adjacent tools, such as Retool apps, to maximize the efficiency of these systems.

Key Responsibilities

This role is ideal for candidates with 2-3 years of experience in CRM platform implementation, API integrations, and process automation. You’ll play a crucial role in building a scalable and reliable tech stack to support our growing business.
1. Kustomer Platform Integration

Lead the implementation and customization of the Kustomer platform to align with business requirements.
Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
2. WhatsApp Cloud API Implementation

Integrate WhatsApp Business API with Kustomer to enhance real-time customer communication.
Configure automated messaging, customer service workflows, outbound marketing messaging (on-demand and outomated) and notifications to streamline customer engagement.
3. E-commerce Integration

Collaborate with platforms like Shopify and Recharge to integrate customer data and order information into Kustomer.
Enable real-time synchronization of customer interactions and transactions across platforms.
4. Custom Tool Development

Design and build internal tools using Retool or similar platforms to enhance system usability and data access.
Develop dashboards and workflows to support CX and operations teams.
5. API and Data Management

Work extensively with APIs and JSON to enable smooth data transfers between systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize API connections to ensure reliability and performance.
Document integration processes and provide technical support as needed.
6. Process Improvement and Scalability

Analyze current workflows and propose improvements to increase automation and reduce manual effort.
Continuously evaluate and refine implemented solutions based on feedback and performance metrics.

Who You Are

Experienced Professional: You bring 2-3 years of experience in CRM platform implementation or similar roles, preferably with tools like Kustomer, Zendesk, or Salesforce.
Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: You have a strong understanding of API integrations, JSON data structures, and automation tools like Make.com.
Customer-Centric: You prioritize enhancing the customer experience through seamless technology integrations.
Retool Enthusiast: Experience with Retool or similar platforms to build custom internal tools is a strong plus.
Detail-Oriented Implementer: You’re meticulous in setting up systems and documenting processes.
Collaborative Communicator: You can effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organized and Proactive: You thrive in a dynamic environment and take initiative to improve systems and workflows.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in working with APIs, JSON, and related integration tool; strong experience on Retool (or similar platforms) to build bridges gives you +500 dogpoints.
Process Automation: Familiarity with tools like Make.com, and similar platforms.
E-commerce Knowledge: Experience integrating CRM platforms with Shopify, Recharge (+250 dogpoints for you on this one), or other subscription services.
Data Visualization: Ability to create dashboards and reports to monitor system performance and impact.
Project Management: Capable of managing timelines and priorities across multiple integration projects.
