TECLA is a fully remote software development company with a diverse and highly skilled team of 100+ experts across Latin America. We specialize in AI, cloud, automation, and DevOps, building innovative solutions for high-growth startups and established mid-market technology companies in the U.S.

Our work culture is agile, collaborative, and fast-paced—we take our work seriously while keeping the environment fun and engaging. As a remote-first company, we emphasize strong teamwork and close collaboration, working seamlessly with our U.S. partners as one integrated unit. Whether optimizing cloud environments, developing AI-driven applications, or enhancing DevOps automation, TECLA is at the forefront of technical innovation, solving complex challenges with cutting-edge technology.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and Enhance Desktop Software: We are seeking someone to build features for our WPF-based .NET application that runs in the field and interacts with inspection robots, handling everything from video feeds to sensor data.
  • Integrate with Web & Cloud Services: Collaborate closely with our Node.js/TypeScript/MongoDB web platform to send and receive large datasets efficiently via message queues over cellular networks. Develop and enhance integrations with enterprise partners like ESRI, OpenGov, and other industry platforms to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.
  • Data Migration & Processing: Transform legacy databases (often Access schemas) into our structured formats. This part of the role requires problem-solving, uncovering patterns in structured data, and making sense of incomplete or inconsistent datasets.
  • Testing, Troubleshooting & Support: Test live video streams, robotic control interfaces, and cloud connectivity to resolve issues. Work closely with our internal support team to diagnose and address technical challenges, ensuring smooth operation for end users.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work in a small, focused team environment. You’ll have a direct voice in improving software reliability and performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in .NET development (C#).
  • WPF expertise (must be comfortable building and maintaining desktop UIs using XAML).
  • SQL experience (familiarity with Access is also helpful).
  • Interest in Hardware Integration (robotics, video, sensors) and willingness to remotely troubleshoot in real-world conditions.
  • Familiarity with Web Technologies & Cloud Services: While the primary focus will be on .NET development, a basic understanding of web technologies is important. Familiarity with JavaScript, RESTful APIs, MongoDB, and message queues will help with integration with our cloud-based platform and enterprise partners. You don’t need to be an expert, but a willingness to learn and work across systems is key.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset for intricate data migrations—think detective work on unknown database schemas.
  • Team Player who communicates well and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Benefits:

  • A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.
  • The opportunity to join a cutting-edge company transforming pipeline inspection and underground infrastructure through technology.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation per year.
  • 10 paid days for local holidays.

*Please note we are only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within our team.
