ClickIT: DevOps and Software Development is looking for a Remote Full-Stack Python Developer from LATAM to join our Team to work on a project for a US Customer, we are one of the best DevOps and software development agencies in Latin America. As a Full Stack Python Developer you will collaborate with designers, product managers and other engineers to build tools to help our customers and partners succeed. Additionally, you will help ensure that constantly-evolving systems are highly available and able to accept several code deployments per day by utilizing devops best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Build products. You will build consumer-facing web applications, including frontend / UI, backend business logic, and data management.
  • Take responsibility for the full software development cycle. You will be responsible for designing, architecting, developing, monitoring/maintaining services.
  • Develop internal tools. You will increase the team’s technological advantage by developing internal tools to create, deploy, and maintain high-quality computerized adaptive assessments.
  • Integrate the digital products with other ecosystems. You’ll handle data flow between the digital products and other systems.
  • Deploy AI services. In this role, you will work closely with our science arm to productize ML algorithms
  • Create web-interfaces. You’ll work with designers and use your frontend skills to implement smooth and elegant web interfaces.
  • Deploy frontend services. Create the frontend services that the rest of the team can work with.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience developing software applications for the web
  • Mastery of Computer Science (CS) foundations, including data structures, algorithms, OS, computer networks, databases, unix, and application servers.
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications with Python. Experience with modern, high-level web frameworks and ORMs. Django experience is preferred but not absolutely required.
  • 3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React.js
  • Solid experience working with GraphQL.
  • Tooling & Automation skills. Familiarity with build tooling and automation utilizing task runners, module bundlers, and linters.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is required; experience with NoSQL databases is nice to have but not required
  • Strong grasp of relational data modeling concepts and best practices
  • Ability to work independently to solve problems, while managing expectations and maintaining communication with team members
  • Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods.
  • You should feel comfortable having technical discussions in English with our international team.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience as an Automation/DevOps Engineer working with Docker, CI/CD or Kubernetes.
