• Ruby Upgrade: Migrate Ruby applications from version 3 to 10, ensuring compatibility, performing load testing, and automating CI/CD.
• Oracle Database Optimization: Refactor schemas, queries, and stored procedures to enhance performance and scalability.
• Collaboration with Functional Teams: Work with product and design teams to define requirements and technical solutions, aligned with best architectural practices.
• Testing and Debugging: Develop unit and integration tests, perform manual and automated testing, and apply error-handling strategies in production.
• Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices within the team.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation on new features, optimizations, and operational procedures.
• Minimize Downtime: Implement strategies to ensure updates with minimal service disruption, using monitoring tools to improve performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ Proven experience as a Ruby Developer, with a strong portfolio of Ruby applications.
• 2+Extensive experience with Oracle Database, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience upgrading Ruby applications from version 3 to version 10.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Certification in Oracle Database or Ruby programming.
