Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) in Interview Now

As a Senior Software Engineer at Interview Now, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of our projects. You will work with a team of talented engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise will guide architectural decisions, ensure best practices, and mentor other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

• Help lead our team providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support
• Deliver high-quality, modular and maintainable frontend & backend code
• Drive innovation by learning and teaching new frameworks and technologies
• Solve complex engineering problems at a fast pace
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to develop and ship features from end-to-end

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience/training
• 5+ years of production experience building consumer product and/or SaaS platforms
• Exceptional coding skills and the ability to ship high-quality code daily
• Strong product ownership and the drive to deliver end-to-end features
• A drive to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
• A high standard of themselves and the people they work with
• Strong and transparent communication skills
• Strong proficiency in software architecture, design patterns and distributed systems
• Expert in our tech stack: Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, ReactJS, NextJS
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (AWS, Github) and basic DevOps fundamentals (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and Distributed NoSQL datastores (Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Proficiency in Unix, Git, and other command line tools
• Significant experience testing critical code with modern testing tools and libraries

• Experience in leadership roles or engineering tech lead responsibilities
