Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Search Engineer, passionate about technology and problem-solving. If you have a deep interest in search and ML and enjoy taking full ownership of your work, this is the opportunity for you! You will work closely with a talented team, leveraging your skills to develop and maintain our search capabilities while being exposed to new technologies and challenges. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work in highly complex problems.
  • Design and implement search algorithms that leverage ElasticSearch for optimal performance.
  • Utilize machine learning techniques to enhance search relevance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain JavaScript-based solutions to integrate with our procurement platform.
  • Analyze search data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications.

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Search Engineer who has extensive experience with ElasticSearch, machine learning, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing search systems that provide intuitive and efficient user experiences. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and creative problem-solving.
Key skills include:
  • C1 or C2 English level (oral and written)
  • Proficiency in ElasticSearch and its features.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience working with marketplaces and/or e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience in large-scale search implementations.
  • Understanding of user experience design principles.
