Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications and backend services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across countries to deliver reusable backend components.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot systems to improve robustness and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes ensuring smooth and reliable software releases.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and promote adoption of best-fit solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 0 to 2 years of software engineering experience is required, demonstrating proficiency in at least one major programming language such as e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python. C# preferred.
  • Basic understanding of version control (Git) and branching strategies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos, SQL DB).
  • Awareness in RESTful API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, pytest) and strong debugging skills.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in C# development.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps tools and microservices architecture.
