Responsibilities

The TypeScript/React Engineer will be responsible for communicating with the founders to receive tasks and work on a well-defined backlog. The role requires a strong focus on UI/UX design, as the candidate will occasionally need to outline visual aspects of the project. The position is part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time by the end of the year, allowing for flexibility in hours while contributing to meaningful projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of TypeScript and React (+5 years of experience), with experience in developing user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing. A keen eye for detail in UI/UX design is essential, as the role involves creating and refining visual components of the project. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with the founders and the team. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and manage their time efficiently to meet project deadlines. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be advantageous.
As this project involves using Microsoft Word API, experience with Microsoft Word front-end integrations is a great plus.

This is a part-time position with very high possibility to turn into a full-time

Desirable Skills

Experience with additional front-end frameworks or libraries, knowledge of back-end technologies, and familiarity with version control systems like Git are considered a plus. A background in working on collaborative projects and an understanding of responsive design principles would also be beneficial.
