TECLA is a fully remote software development company with a diverse and highly skilled team of 100+ experts across Latin America. We specialize in AI, cloud, automation, and DevOps, building innovative solutions for high-growth startups and established mid-market technology companies in the U.S.

Our work culture is agile, collaborative, and fast-paced—we take our work seriously while keeping the environment fun and engaging. As a remote-first company, we emphasize strong teamwork and close collaboration, working seamlessly with our U.S. partners as one integrated unit. Whether optimizing cloud environments, developing AI-driven applications, or enhancing DevOps automation, TECLA is at the forefront of technical innovation, solving complex challenges with cutting-edge technology.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Development of Our Web Platform: Drive end-to-end feature development and performance improvements using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, REST, React (antD), and AWS. Work within our existing architecture while ensuring scalable, efficient solutions. Take ownership of deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS-based infrastructure to maintain reliability and performance.
  • Manage Development Process: Oversee other developers, guiding technical decisions and ensuring alignment across projects. Take responsibility for task management, prioritization, and keeping development on schedule to deliver features efficiently and on time.
  • Integrate with Desktop & Enterprise Solutions: Collaborate with our .NET team and external platforms to maintain consistent data structures, ensure seamless data exchange, and preserve schema alignment across systems.
  • Optimize Infrastructure: Manage MongoDB data models, media transcoding workflows, and ensure high performance and scalability within our AWS infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex issues—from service outages to integration challenges—while providing technical guidance to our internal support team to help resolve customer-reported issues efficiently.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel to meet with customers, see how your code runs on actual hardware, and attend industry events. Plan on 2-4 international trips per year.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of full-stack web development (Node.js/TypeScript/React) and experience leading teams or projects.
  • Database Skills with both MongoDB solutions and relational databases.
  • API & Cloud Expertise including RESTful APIs, AWS services, and deployment pipelines.
  • UI Framework Proficiency in React and experience with antD or similar component libraries.
  • Collaboration Mindset: Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment with .NET developers, hardware engineers, and support teams, including remote team members. Able to communicate effectively using Slack, async documentation, and other collaboration tools to keep projects aligned across time zones.
  • Passion for Real-World Impact: Eager to tackle complex challenges in pipeline inspection and underground infrastructure. Able to design scalable solutions, anticipate issues before they arise, and contribute to meaningful technological advancements in a hands-on, field-driven industry.

Benefits:

  • A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.
  • The opportunity to join a cutting-edge company transforming pipeline inspection and underground infrastructure through technology.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation per year.
  • 10 paid days for local holidays.

*Please note we are only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within our team.
