• Client Presentations and Support: Deliver clear, detailed analytical and data science presentations to clients, translating statistical / technical findings and model results into actionable business insights and highlighting their business value. Provide post-project support for client queries.
• Client Needs Assessment: Deeply understand client needs alongside the client and sales representatives to verify project feasibility and explore higher value alternatives to address business problems.
• Model Development and Evaluation: Develop, measure, and iterate various AI and machine learning models with a focus on business value creation and meeting client business goals.
• Data Collection and Coordination: Ensure the collection and processing of necessary interchange and scheme fee data when required, in close coordination with the data engineering teams.
• Data Preparation and Cleaning: Collect, prepare, and clean various other data sources for analysis.
• Application of Data Science Frameworks: Apply data science frameworks to ensure the consistency, clarity, and repeatability of models and analyses in projects.

• University studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Engineering, Business Engineering, Statistics, or related.
• English Level B2, C1 or C2.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, preferably in the banking / financial sector.
• Skilled in Python (with notebooks as well as scripts) and SQL for the purpose of data wrangling, data analytics and data science.
• Skilled with Python data wrangling, visualization, and machine learning frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn / Matplotlib, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
• While not required, professional experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark) is an advantage.
• We seek candidates with strong analytical and statistical skills, as well as attention to detail. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and determination.
• Candidates must have excellent communication and presentation skills. They should be able to clearly explain, visualize and demonstrate complex concepts in data science, machine learning, statistics, and data limitations to non-technical stakeholders, with a focus on business value creation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work on-site in our Lima office.
• While not required, a strong understanding of the card-payment industry challenges and their data requirements is a significant advantage.
