• Validate that test case has all required inputs for its execution
• Adjust the selenium script for online test cases
• Analysis of PEX report
• Execution of test cases through Azure DevOps pipeline
• Identification of data migration errors during test cases execution
• Correction/edit of postgres dumps (as a result of errors in the data migration)
• Adjustments of groovy scripts
• Root cause analysis of errors present during the execution of test case
• Analysis of data comparison and correction of keys to compare (as necessary)
• Deployment and/or update of testing environments
• Documentation of testing results in Azure DevOps
• Planning of test cases execution over night and during weekends
• Analysis of logs: Tomcat, PGAudit, PostgreSQL logs
• Given a report of data comparison between 2 databases (BA Compare), effectively understand if difference between records are acceptable (example: date, time, user, timestamp). If data comparison requires matching columns, following the data logic to identify which columns can be used as “business keys” to have a better match against the data provided.
• Active participation in workshops sessions with customer to validate the results of a test case

Tester’s profile

• Java developer
  • Experience and familiarity with java based applications
  • Effective understanding of java based applications exceptions for root cause analysis
• Application mgmt (front/back)
  • Knowledge and experience with angular and HTML for frontend applications
  • Knowledge and experience of tomcat and JDK for java based application deployments
• Selenium
  • Experience working with selenium scripts for usage in Selenium IDE/selenese-runner (JSON-structured steps)
  • Knowledge on how to modify script steps to change interaction/values
  • Understand script execution errors and take actions to correct them without depending on external help for applying fixes
  • Understand interactions with HTML and apply corrections based on error details
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Selenium commands and use cases
• SQL
  • Experience and familiarity with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with SQL language
  • Effective understanding of SQL syntax. Identify errors and understand root cause based on exception
  • Analysis of pgAudit to identify application interactions with data and potential data issues (queries returning 0 records for example)
• Linux
  • Usage and manage connectivity with ssh/sftp/scp
  • Understand and manage linux filesystems (usage, size, partitions)
  • Understand and manage file(s)/directories permissions and ownership
  • File manipulation with vi/vim
  • Understand and manage services with systemd (status, dependencies, exceptions, unit file management)
  • Knowledge and experience with networking concepts. Be able to identify connectivity errors from application errors. OSI layer, application protocols, etc

  • Able to effectively comprehend analysis documents provided by English speaking dev teams without external help or support from translation tools
