Job Details:

We are seeking a meticulous and passionate Manual QA Engineer to join our growing team. As a key player in our product development process, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. You'll conduct thorough end-to-end testing, identify and document defects, and collaborate closely with developers and product managers to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end user testing to ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user workflows.
  • Execute test cases, meticulously documenting results and ensuring coverage of all use cases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers and product managers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain detailed and organized testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and results for future reference.
  • Analyze test results, provide actionable feedback, and drive continuous improvements in product quality.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to review requirements and provide input from a QA perspective.
  • Advocate for the end user by identifying usability issues and ensuring a high-quality user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in a web, e-commerce, or gaming environment.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Proficiency in using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player experiences.
  • Experience with browser developer tools.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and mobile devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with test management tools.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Experience testing APIs.
  • Experience testing game launchers.

Work Schedule:
Flexible with required overlap from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time.
