QA Automation Specialist in coderslab.io

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Specialist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated testing solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will play a key role in defining and driving best practices in testing across engineering teams, helping to establish consistent and scalable QA strategies that align with our development goals. Your contributions will directly impact the overall efficiency of our development lifecycle, enhance product quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in our engineering processes.

Work with engineering leads on building an approach to Unit Testing.
Create a standardized approach to UI Automation. Implement consistency, create standard templates, document processes.
Create standard projects in GitHub which can be the basis for automation projects.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Gather and centralize metrics that different teams are generating for API, UI, Unit, Performance and Manual testing.
Write and maintain documentation on all the processes that are going to be established.

4+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
Proven Experience doing UI Automation and writing Unit Testing.
Experience integrating Unit or UI Automation testing with CI/CD workflows.
Experience with GitHub.
Capable of creating and updating technical documentation about Quality Optimization best practices.
Experience using JavaScript / TypeScript with Playwright.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter) and practices.
Understanding of Manual QA testing processes.
Experience consolidating test metrics (Unit, API, UI, Manual),
Advanced English communication skills.

Familiar with Scrum or Kanban agile methodologies.
Experience defining and maintaining Test Matrix.

Project duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
