QA Engineer in Belcorp

Belcorp is looking for an experienced and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent position for people who enjoy working on the full cycle of automated testing — creating a strategy, writing a plan, creating and executing tests, finding regressions, logging and verifying bugs, and creating comprehensive historical records of testing activities are all part of being successful in this position.

Challenges:

Work collaboratively with stakeholders across engineering projects to improve quality of digital assets while reducing the time to market.
Design, own, deliver and execute test plans for Belcorp’s core platforms and experiences.
Develop and maintain a robust library of test cases for both new and existing features.
Design and execute regression test plans on an ongoing basis.
Work with other members of the Engineering team to ensure that testing is complete and thorough before launching.
Provide immediate feedback to software developers and work with them to improve the product.
Work with Engineering team to isolate and reproduce defects across all parts of the system.
Build automated test suites that cover core business flows and data pipeline processes that lead to accurate business results.
Collaborate with Product Owners and others to identify and write clear, concise, and detailed acceptance criteria for new features and functionality.
Collaborate with CloudOps team on pipeline automation such as CI and CD.
Leverage and reuse standards, QA best practices, tools and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical fields experience or equivalent practical experience.
0-2+ years of experience with Software Quality Assurance development, methodologies, and practices.
Strong knowledge of at least one automation testing framework, such as: Selenium / Appium / Serenity BDD / Cucumber.
Strong knowledge of at least one codeless automation tool, such as: LambdaTest / Katalon / BrowserStack / Ranorex.
Strong knowledge of at least one API testing tool, such as: SOAPUI / Postman.
Experience with RESTful APIs.
Experience designing and developing robust and scalable automation frameworks using industry best practices with custom web application and mobile application.
Core programing knowledge with Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Organizational skills to capture and record detailed and accurate information about bugs and systemic issues.
Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging.
Experience with test-driven development environment, dealing with code. refactoring and code bottleneck issues; and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
Experience with performance test and tools.
Familiar with Jira, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitHub and Gherkin.

Bonus points:

• Proven Experience with e-Commerce Platforms like (VTEX, Magento, SAP Commerce).
