Job functions

As a QA Engineer at EVEN, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our software applications. You will work collaboratively with our development and product teams to identify and address issues, validate functionality, and ensure a seamless user experience. This role demands expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
  • Continuously identify and report software defects, track issues, and verify bug fixes.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes do not introduce new defects.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that may not be covered by existing test cases.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to the development team.
  • Participate in the release process, including test execution, validation, and documentation.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and automation.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing of software applications.
  • Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desirable skills

While English proficiency is not a strict requirement for this role, candidates should have the ability to read and understand English documentation, test cases, and communication within the team. The ability to communicate in English is a plus but not mandatory.
