Senior Software Engineer (Computer Vision and AI) in Moventi

• Drive the overall architecture of the company's AI systems.
• Test and prototype the latest technologies being released within the AI space with an eye towards how they can be applied to our specific use case.
• Build and maintain software to analyze videos, photos, and mobile phone data to create highly accurate representations of 3D spaces.
• Build and maintain software to integrate information from our product catalog, user provided inspiration images, and spatial data to generate designs of spaces.
• Build and maintain endpoints providing an agentic capabilities for our user interfaces.
• Create software to automation portions of 3D model and texture generation from pictures and product specifications.
• Deliver key features in coordination with the other engineers at the company
• Coordinate with stakeholders to conceptualize project timelines and evolving strategy
• Assist in the recruiting process and actively mentor engineers across the company

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in computer vision or image processing, particularly in production environments working with AR, video, or 3D data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, and Swift, with experience implementing algorithms for real-time computer vision or image processing tasks.
• Hands-on experience extracting and processing frames from video, and performing image enhancements or feature extraction to augment data from AR devices.
• Extensive experience with computer vision techniques, including image classification, object detection, segmentation, and depth estimation.
• Experience integrating MLLMs, particularly GPT and Claude into production applications in combination with large and changing datasets.
• Knowledge of recent advancements in NeRFs or similar volumetric rendering techniques for 3D scene reconstruction and representation.
• Experience with 3D scene reconstruction techniques, multi-view geometry, and structure-from-motion algorithms.
• Strong mathematical skills in 3D geometry and linear algebra.
• Ability to lead technical discussion and decisions, including framework selection
• Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical team members, especially explaining technical approaches, capabilities, and performance.
• Enjoys working on small teams and evolving startup environments to devise creative solutions to complex problems.
