Front-end Developer (Vue.js) in TECLA

We are an AI-powered suite designed for the modern real estate investor, lender, and broker. We initially focused on providing tools for deal teams to accelerate their market analysis, deal sourcing, and underwriting processes – leading to more great deals being done with fewer resources. We are looking for a Frontend Developer to help bring our designs to life and create an intuitive, beautiful user interface for our web application. This role involves utilizing VueJS to implement the frontend and collaborating with the product manager and designer to ensure the front end is built to meet specified designs and acceptance criteria. Candidates with experience in React or AngularJS and a willingness to learn VueJS are encouraged to apply.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for integrating the frontend interface with the API layer, enabling dynamic and functional features within the app. A strong focus on test-driven development (TDD) is expected to ensure high-quality code.

• Develop and implement the user interface for our web application using VueJS (experience with React or AngularJS is acceptable, with the ability to learn VueJS).
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Work closely with the product manager and designer to implement features based on designs and specified acceptance criteria.
• Integrate the front end with the API layer to ensure seamless functionality across the app.
• Communicate regularly with the product manager, designer, and engineering team to maintain alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Continuously improve the user experience by building efficient and scalable UI components.

• 2 years of professional development experience working on frontend projects with VueJS (React or Angular are a plus!).
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit and integration tests.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Ability to integrate front-end code with API layers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.
