Your Role: Tech Lead

As a Technical Project Manager, you'll lead project management and technical efforts, ensuring timely delivery while contributing to hands-on development. You will also play a critical role in shaping JGRPโ€™s growth through efficient workflows, talent development, and continuous improvement.

Project Management
Prioritize and manage tasks
for multiple projects, meeting timelines, milestones, and client expectations.

  • Evaluate team performance, provide guidance, and remove roadblocks to ensure smooth progress.
  • Manage resource allocation and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate deployments to staging and production, ensuring efficient transitions.
  • Client interaction for regular project updates and issue resolution.

Technical Leadership
Guide technical direction
on system architecture, security, scalability, and performance.

  • Set coding conventions and ensure team adherence to best practices.
  • Select tools and frameworks to meet project needs and ensure scalability.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • Offer hands-on support for development, optimization, and troubleshooting.

People Management & Growth
Evaluate employee performance,
offering feedback and mentorship.

  • Assist with onboarding and integrating new hires into the team.
  • Assess potential hires and ensure they align with the company's technical and cultural needs.
  • Incorporate company policies and best practices into daily workflows.

Hands-on Development
Contribute directly to coding, including developing APIs, back-end systems, and front-end interfaces.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system performance.
  • Build new features and improve existing systems to meet project goals.

Continuous Improvement
Develop and implement project workflows
that enhance team efficiency.

  • Maintain project documentation to support knowledge sharing.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

โœ… 10+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on modern web technologies - including front-end and back-end technologies, APIs, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
โœ… 5+ years in a leadership or management role (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, TPM, or equivalent).
โœ… Proficient with project management tools like Jira, GitHub, and Confluence.
โœ… Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools, including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
โœ… Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and API design for scalable, high-performance systems.
โœ… Strong understanding of system architecture best practices (security, scalability, performance).
โœ… Excellentcommunication and leadership skills, able to manage cross-functional teams and align business needs with technical requirements.
โœ… Experience in mentoring and guiding teams, with a focus on improving performance, fostering collaboration, and driving project success.
โœ… Must be a native English speaker, with a native American accent.
โœ… Must reside in a timezone between UTC-2 to UTC-8.
