Job Details:

We are seeking a DevOps & Platform Support Engineer who will play a crucial role in driving the success of customer implementations. In this role, the engineer will work with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth customer installations and implementations, providing technical support and project management assistance.

The engineer will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor, bridging the gap between product capabilities and the customer's unique challenges. The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely will be instrumental in conveying the value proposition of AI governance software to a diverse range of stakeholders. Through this work, the engineer will drive the adoption of Responsible AI at scale, ensuring organizations can leverage the power of artificial intelligence while maintaining trust and compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete deployment lifecycle, from identifying the customer’s deployment lead and team to creating and executing the deployment project plan alongside the customer to managing and supporting the installation and setup of the platform, ensuring a smooth and successful launch
  • Manage and support post-deployment activities, including software releases, customizations, monitoring, and maintenance, ensuring the system remains optimal and up-to-date
  • Utilize strong communication skills to effectively convey deployment-related information and confidently lead customer discussions on deployment and releases
  • Support ongoing implementation, custom deployment works, configuration updates, and management of the platform to meet business requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Coordinate platform updates and upgrades as well as the customer-facing deployment instructions and documentation
  • Design and implement a repeatable standard process for new customer deployments across the board, designed to optimize efficiency, quality, and self-sufficiency while also adapting to the unique characteristics and needs of each customer

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps supporting deployment and infrastructure
  • Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) deployment and management, including core concepts like Pods, Services, and Operators
  • Proficiency with Docker and container runtime environments
  • Skilled in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation and experience with CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments
  • Strong experience with AWS services (S3, RDS for PostgreSQL, IAM) and understanding of cloud security best practices
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, TLS/SSL management, and network security configurations including firewalls and SMTP/StartTLS
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database administration and AWS RDS, along with knowledge of object storage (AWS S3) and related security
  • Strong Linux system administration skills, including network configuration, and the ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues
  • Experience with SSO via OIDC and proficiency in application monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance

Hard Skills:

  • Proficient in deploying applications on Kubernetes (K8s), including Operators, Services, and Pods.
  • Experience with Docker, container runtimes (e.g., containerd), and container registries.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers (e.g., AWS ALB, nginx), and service meshes.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, RDS for PostgreSQL, IAM); knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Able to manage TLS/SSL certificates, firewalls, SMTP, and StartTLS.
  • Experience administering PostgreSQL and optimizing AWS RDS.
  • Knowledge of AWS S3 and S3-compliant object storage, including bucket security.
  • Skilled in Linux system administration (SELinux, DNS, IP config).
  • Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Familiar with SSO via OIDC and secure authentication mechanisms.
