You are a software engineer that thinks that programming skills are not just for developing software applications, but also for managing infrastructure and automating everything in-between. You have fun implementing features in backend applications, writing scripts for CI/CD pipelines, or provisioning virtual machines to run a containerized application.

There is no separate “Infrastructure Team”; everyone is expected to have at least some awareness of where our production applications run, but some people (like you!) are expected to have an advanced understanding of that.
