Job Functions:

  • Provide hardware/software support via telephone, email, callout, or remote tools.
  • Install and configure new Windows computers, notebooks, printers, multifunction devices, and telephone handsets.
  • Install software, upgrade operating systems (Windows 7 to Windows 10), and manage software version upgrades.
  • Support users of major corporate systems, including Agresso, Core HR, iPlan, iHouse, Sierra LMS, Softco, and MailMeter.
  • Provide support for print management solutions.
  • Assist with audiovisual facilities, video conferencing, and microphones.
  • Utilize the Council’s Contact Management System in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Perform other duties as required to contribute to the delivery of our Helpdesk service.

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role (College placements of significant duration can count toward experience requirements).
  • A relevant 3rd level qualification (or appropriate equivalent) awarded by a recognized institution.
  • Formal Microsoft qualifications or substantial relevant experience in managing MS technologies.
  • A relevant CISCO networking qualification (CCNA/CCNP) OR substantial relevant experience with networking technologies.
