On Get on Board, all published jobs (except those in part-time and freelance modes) must specify salary. When you create your job posting, the salary you specify is compared to a minimum value. If a job offers a salary lower than the minimum value calculated by Get on Board, we will not accept its posting.
How is this value calculated? We take several different factors into account:
- The job title
- The category in which the job is published (and which must also be consistent with the title of the job and with the requirements indicated in the text)
- The minimum level of experience required (which must be consistent with the requirements of the job)
- The location of the job
- Technologies and skills mentioned or required in the job ad
We are continuously updating the base values according to which the minimum wage is calculated, to respond to changes in the market and the cost of living in each country.
